He then went on to serve three years in the United States Navy and eventually earned a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.

He obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Naipaul completed a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry; a general practice residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City; the AEGD post graduate program while in active duty with the United States Navy.
